Implemented nationwide, the One Nation One Ration Card initiative guarantees the equitable provision of subsidized food staples to eligible ration card holders governed by the National Food Security Act (NFSA). This program enables beneficiaries to procure entitled food supplies comprising Rice, Wheat, and Coarse Grain at fixed rates of Rs. 3, Rs. 2, and Rs. 1 per kilogram from any authorized Fair Price Shop (FPS) across the nation. Facilitated by seamless biometric/Aadhaar verification on an electronic Point of Sale (ePoS) terminal, this system offers recipients the convenience of accessing their allocated rations beyond their home state.
